About Our Graduate Programs
Through our degree programs, Hartford Seminary students learn to describe and analyze their central beliefs and reasons for action. We help our students gain an understanding of their own faith tradition and a respect for the traditions of others, and help them relate their faith tradition to the changing nature of current realities.
Accreditation and Association
Hartford Seminary is accredited by The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, the Board of Higher Education of the State of Connecticut and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.
Hartford Seminary is a member of the Hartford Consortium for Higher Education; the other institutions being: Capital Community College, Central Connecticut State University, Charter Oak State College, Connecticut Public Television and Radio, Goodwin College, Rensselaer at Hartford, Saint Joseph College, Trinity College, The University of Connecticut, University of Hartford, and Saint Thomas Seminary.
